Tough and street-smart nurse, Rebecca Diaz, has been through a lot in her life. Raised by an alcoholic father and an enabling mother, she has seen the worst of addiction up close and personal. The only reason she agrees to become a sober companion is because the money is ridiculous and an answer to all her prayers.
Liam Connors is rich and famous and the one thing he’s sure of is he doesn’t need a sober companion. He likes to party – who doesn’t – but he’s not out of control for Pete’s sake. Still, he can handle a few weeks with a babysitter if it makes everyone happy.
It’s only when things take a dramatic turn and Rebecca and Liam are forced to fight for their very survival that they begin to see themselves and one another differently.
Liam finally understands he must face down his demons if he ever wants to become sober. And Rebecca, who has always vowed she’d never follow in her mother’s footsteps, now finds herself drawn to Liam.
